NATA

A meeting of South Australian NATA Members and Assessors was held on Wednesday 3 August 2016 in Adelaide.

The meeting comprised two parts:

  • A brief Corporate update from CEO Jennifer Evans, followed by details of recent changes to NATA’s accreditation requirements by John Styzinski, GM Operations and Technical, and
  • An interactive technical forum on equipment assurance and calibration by Paul McMullen, Sector Manager of Calibration.

The meeting was planned to have a strong technical focus as well as providing time for discussion on issues that affect Members and Assessors.

There were about 50 attendees at the event in addition to a number of NATA technical staff and management. The meeting was also linked via webinar allowing regional and interstate members to take part.

This dual method of delivery will be used for future meetings of Members and Assessors.
Meetings are scheduled in New South Wales and the ACT later in the year.
