In recognition of World Metrology Day, the National Measurement Institute (NMI) presented the NMI Prize to Dr Alessandro Rossi and the Barry Inglis Medal to Dr Graham Jones.

The NMI Prize acknowledges outstanding achievement in measurement research and/or excellence in practical measurements by a young individual working in academia, research or industry in Australia.

The Barry Inglis Medal celebrates outstanding achievement in measurement research and/or excellence in practical measurement, research and/or excellence in practical measurements by an individual or group in the fields of academia, research or industry in Australia.


This year’s recipients were Dr Alessandro Rossi (NMI Prize) and Dr Graham Jones (Barry Inglis Medal).
