Technical Assessors provide NATA with their time and expertise, and are an essential part of our laboratory accreditation program. NATA provides training to Technical Assessors that covers the accreditation process and their role. This training (the Technical Assessor Development Program) is presented face-to-face at sites around Australia.
For those Technical Assessors who are in remote locations in Australia, or are overseas, NATA is now offering a webinar style training tool which will allow more interaction with the NATA trainers in a timely and effective manner.
The content is based on the Assessor Information Guide which is provided to all new Technical Assessors in the Assessor Resource Kit they receive when they join our team of Technical Assessors.
The training will be presented via two webinars held on one day – morning and afternoon. Part A is approximately two hours in length and Part B will take around an hour. So, although a Technical Assessor will need to put aside a day for this training, they do not need to leave their facility and will have time to catch up on other matters in between sessions. To be considered as a fully trained NATA Technical Assessor, both sections of the training will need to be completed.
This webinar training will allow current Technical Assessors, who may have attended a training course some time ago, to attend a refresher course while not having to give up a full day away from the work site.
