The NATA Accreditation Requirements (NAR) packages include all the accreditation criteria together with other informative documents for each field or program of accreditation.

A copy of the NAR(s) for each field or program in which accreditation is held or being sought must be readily available to staff working in a NATA accredited or applicant facility.

Each NAR is made up of a number of documents which are available for download as a zipped file below.

The NARs include the following documents:

1. The relevant standard (e.g. AS ISO/IEC 17025) for which accreditation is held or sought.  Note that you are required to separately obtain the standard as described in the statement about standards in each of the zip files.
2. The relevant Field Application Document (FAD) for the field/program.
3. NATA Rules.
4. Current Policy/Technical Circulars (where relevant).
5. Technical Notes (where relevant).  These documents include information to assist facilities in relation to particular technical matters which do not form part of the accreditation criteria.
6. Other informative documents which do not form part of the accreditation criteria such as:

   • Information Papers
   • Proficiency Testing information

Some fields/programs have additional documents that also form part of the accreditation requirements which are referenced in the relevant field application document (FAD).
