Laboratory Assessor/Lead Assessor

(*ALQS) [5 days course]
A five-day course for people who are responsible for conducting full systems assessments either within their laboratory/organisation or for external laboratories/organisations. The course addresses the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025, documentation review, assessment planning and conduct, assessment reports and follow-up actions.

Quality Management in the Laboratory

(*QMTL) [3 days course]
If you require practical training and guidance on implementing and improving a laboratory management system to help operate your laboratory efficiently and to assist in achieving/maintaining NATA accreditation, these three days will be well spent.

OECD Principles of Good Laboratory Practice

(GLPC) [2 days course]
If you require practical training and guidance on the implementation of OECD Principles of Good Laboratory Practice, then this course is for you. In this two-day course, we will explain how to manage the conduct of non-clinical environmental health and safety studies related to the registration of pharmaceuticals, agricultural and veterinary and industrial chemicals.

Internal Audits

(*INAU) [2 days course]
This course will help you establish and implement an internal audit program that meets the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025. The course will also help ensure the laboratory is effectively managing its risks and aid the improvement of practices, documents and staff. A practical and simple approach is used in this course, and previous audit experience is not needed to attend and get the most out of it.

Understanding ISO 15189 - Accreditation Requirements for Medical Laboratories

(MEDR) [1 day course]
This course has been developed for medical laboratories specifically to assist them in upgrading their management systems to ISO 15189. The course provides a comparison between ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 15189, and highlights the new requirements that medical laboratories must meet for accreditation. The course is suitable for all levels of staff in the laboratory, regardless of their knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025.

Analytical testing and the forensic process

(ATFP) [1 day course]
This course is designed to develop an understanding of the Forensic Process and what is required for analytical work to be accepted in a legal forum.

Aspects of Quality Control in the Microbiological Laboratory-Part 2

(QCML - Part 2) [1 day course]
This course is designed for people who work in a microbiology laboratory, have some responsibility for quality control, and have already completed the original QCML course. It is conducted as a one day workshop with short formal presentations on topics followed by small group discussions around specific laboratory scenarios, concluding with a group overview on each module.

Understanding NATA's ISO/IEC 17025 Requirements

(*NGRA) [1 day course]
If you are seeking an understanding of the NATA accreditation requirements, in particular ISO/IEC 17025:2005, then this one day course is for you. It will assist laboratories that are already accredited in maintaining their accreditation, and provide an overview of the requirements for laboratories just starting the process of seeking accreditation.

Documenting and Implementing your Laboratory Management System

(DYLS) [1 day course]
If your laboratory or organisation is implementing or upgrading a management system and you want practical training and guidance on the different types of documents and how to prepare them simply and effectively, then this course will be an excellent investment.

Aspects of Quality Control in the Microbiological Laboratory-Part 1

(QCML - Part 1) [1 day course]
If you work in a microbiological laboratory and have some responsibility for quality control, then this course is for you. It is conducted as a one-day workshop with formal presentations on each topic, and an emphasis on group participation. Discussions will be focused on the analysis of laboratory scenarios and the review of technical procedures and methods. The course incorporates the NATA Accreditation Requirements, in particular the Supplementary Requirements for Biological Testing.
