Intelligent Lean Laboratories Conference

Melbourne, 25-26 September 2008

NATA has negotiated a special discount of 15 per cent for NATA members attending the conference.

Intelligent Lean Laboratories Conference, Melbourne, 25-26 September 2008
Laboratories struggle with maximising efficiency and minimising costs. Managers often regard laboratories in larger operations only as cost centres. It is therefore important that laboratories are managed in an efficient way.

To do this, a number of laboratories around the world have taken the principles from lean manufacturing, a concept developed for industry, and applied them to the laboratory environment.

Applying lean concepts in laboratories has proven to be a powerful tool to eliminate waste, improve competence, and create more value for customers.

This Conference brings together experts from companies such as Fonterra, Merck Sharp & Dohme, Fosters, PaLMS, Wyeth, Amcor, LabWare Asia Pacific and Dairy Farmers who will share their experiences with the application of ‘lean’ in the laboratory context.

To get the 15 per cent discount, registrants must quote their NATA accreditation and register directly with Ms Lee Chew Wan.
