Civil Engineering Testing Conference 2008
The Civil Engineering Testing Association of New Zealand is holding a conference between 24 to 26 September 2008 and registrations are now open.
The conference is open to Australian delegates - NATA's Technical Consultant, Construction Materials Testing, Mr Dom Meadley attended in 2006 and believes the 2008 conference could be of benefit those attending.
"The 2006 conference in New Zealand was of considerable benefit to the people who came from Australia in that most of the subjects covered were relevant to Australian practice," Mr Meadley said.
"The majority of sessions covered the same technologies such as measurment uncertainty, proficiency testing, soil compaction and compaction control, nuclear gauges, asphalt and bitumen testing. "I believe that there is a lot to be gained to see the different approaches taken as well as some similar approaches," For more information visit www.cetc2008.org.nz
